Megan Faulkner
Currently based in San Francisco, gorgeous Megan Faulkner shares her discoveries from her new home in this celebrated alternative health and counter-culture Mecca.
My name is Megan Faulkner, and I am really excited about joining Lesley-Ann and the Gorgeous Things Team. I am a proud little Aussie, Occupational Therapist, student, wife, yoga devotee, healthy living junkie (with the odd glass of Sauv Blanc for good measure), and hopefully in the not too distant future, mother.
I have recently moved to California, and whilst soaking up the sunshine and studying for my Masters in Occupational Therapy, I look forward to spreading the word about the fabulous products and lifestyle education Gorgeous Things supports. I also look forward sharing some of my experiences from the other side of the pond.

Green & Gorgeous Domestic Goddess
In my mid thirties, I am a proud wife and mother of three wonderful children, ranging in age from 6 to 4 years – including twins. Together with my husband, I run a carpentry and maintenance business from home.We are currently completing a home extension, and filling up our veggie patch in anticipation of the warmer months – here in Queanbeyan we are very keen for summer.
During the last few years I have been involved in our childrens’ preschool and the local multiple birth association, and I am looking forward to increasing my involvement in our eldest daughter’s primary school and joining the soon to be established environmental committee there.
My other interests include recycling, staying healthy and looking good, and providing healthy food and activities for my children, and others I am privileged enough to have contact with.

Book Reviews
I wear three hats. I am a mother of three boys aged 7 to 11; I work part time for an executive search firm; and I study part time at the University of Canberra. My husband has his own business and works part time for the Army Legal Corp.
So our house is somewhat busy. I love reading books and started up a Bookclub about four years ago. We meet once every six weeks and take it in turns choosing the book. Over the summer we can read anything and give a review of it to the other members.
The best thing we’ve found about our Bookclub is that we not only read the ‘chosen’ book but we share books we’ve read over the years – so it’s a great way of expanding our repertoire.
In addition to books, I love yoga, pilates, netball, tennis, cooking and travel. I have recently joined a gym in an effort to get a little fitter and stave off the middle age spread!
