When I started Gorgeous Things I decided that I’d never allow anything boring to be a part of the business. That’s why you’ll never see a product shot with just a white background. I wanted the whole concept to be a visual feast that would create excitement and a fun atmosphere to immerse yourself in. Taking inspiration from each product individually, the shots have been created to show the essence and attitude of each product and brand we stock. It’s certainly not the easiest way to create a website – but it is the most fun.

Here’s a few examples of our product shots just to give you an introduction to Gorgeous Things. The shots range from a cheeky spin on the 50s Domestic Goddess for the Cinderella Cleaning range through to a more natural look for the ‘E string’ shopping bags. I still haven’t decided on whether or not to hold a Toga party to photograph the ‘ecoLinen’ Organic Cotton Sheets and Towels – you’ll have to check back in a few months.
