FEEL FABULOUS
*** How to Get the Most Out of Each Day
Colour can help you feel happy, focus, stimulate imagination so choose carefully when you’re getting dressed in the morning. Here’s a few examples:
- Red - stimulates mental energy and relieve aches & pains
- Blue - calms nerves and can help with depression
- Green - eases anger and frustration
- Orange - creates a feeling of joy and boosts creativity
Keep your mind sharp and in top condition and you’ll breeze through new tasks as well as finding routine tasks easier to handle.
- Puzzles - buy a desk calendar with daily Sudoku, logic puzzles or crosswords. Solving puzzles makes your brain function optimally and will make smarter. Work smart not hard as the saying goes.
- Reading - just like puzzles, reading will make you smarter.
- Creativity - develop a creative outlet to help you express yourself and develop new ideas. Doesn’t matter if you draw, buy a couple of cheap canvases and do your worst, sew, decorate cakes or even twirl Fire-sticks. Just do something that makes you feel good, regardless of how good or bad you are at it.
The idea is - if you’re mentally switched on, feeling good and continually challenging yourself then you’ll respond well to whatever demands are put upon you.

MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE
***A Quick Word on Focus
It’s Ok to do two things at once, but only as long as you don’t need to do either of them very well. Just keep that in mind when you’re multi-tasking your way through the day.
Sure we can all talk to a friend on the phone and write a work email at the same time but maybe it would be better to give your friend your complete attention for 5 or 10 minutes, help her solve her problem or just listen to her (unless she’s one of those friends that drones on for hours - then by all means - put her on speaker phone and do the washing up while you’re at it as well) and then get back to work writing that email with your full attention so you don’t send it to the CEO instead of your boyfriend by mistake. What would you rather if you needed a friend’s ear?
>> I hope you have a wonderful month and just remember - show the world your style and substance, don’t be afraid to stand out in the crowd and share you ideas, thoughts and opinions. As always, any questions, suggestions or whatever - email us LA x
