Making it easy for women to look fabulous and feel great naturally

Question of the week

August 2, 2007

Every Thursday we’re going to ask the big questions here on the Gorgeous Things blog. Hard hitting stuff like - what would you do if you didn’t have to work, what’s the most you’ve ever won on the lottery, your favourite cocktail, would your man ever get a Brazilian (just thought I’d slip that one in there as I’ve been told it’s becoming quite popular, just wait until David Beckham gets one…if he hasn’t already), or even what’s your perfect Sunday?

So, today’s question is -

What’s your best feature?

Is it your hair, do you have a super cute nose, maybe you’re a fabulous person to have around when times are tough, do you make people laugh and feel good?

I’ll tell you mine…I have great arms and shoulders (years as a Sports Massage Therapist will do that to you), strapless dresses are my favourite way to show them off.

Don’t be shy, show off a bit, we’re all friends - tell us about your good bits.

  1. Lanni Said,

My Lips - they are full and have a great shape. “All the better to pucker up with.”
I like to accentuate them by outlining them with a lip liner and finishing them off with a good gloss.

  2. admin Said,

@ Lanni - you lucky thing! LA x

  3. CJ Said,

Being easy to talk to (people always confide in me, or talk to me about their problems/worries) is probably my best non-tangible feature.

Physically, my legs. Strong, just the right amount of hair, and naturally well-shaped. That’s one of the main reasons I wear kilts all the time!

  4. admin Said,

You can see men in kilts at www.Utilikilts.com , their site will feature in the Gorgeous Things ‘Start a Conversation’ page when the website re-vamp is completed. The mock-u-mercials alone are worth the click.

  5. Jen / domestika Said,

How uncomfortable, picking out one’s own best feature! We aren’t accustomed to complimenting ourselves, are we?

Well, in my foolish youth, my best feature was definitely my, er, rear view… but I think now it’s a toss-up between that and my empathy. Someone once said there are two kinds of people - those who walk into a room and say, “Here I am,” and those who walk in and say “There you are!” The aim, of course, is to try to be the second kind of person… it’s an on-going process… ;)

  6. admin Said,

    “it’s an ongoing process”

Good call Jen - you’re talkin’ my language.

I felt a bit uncomfortable too writing about my good bits, I’m usually much more comfortable making humorous (well I think so anyway) comments about my short-comings. :)
