Sydney International Beauty Expo

At the bottom of this post is my pick for the most hilarious Beauty Product every conceived. Scroll down to check it out…you won’t be sorry…

Part of me loves the glamour & gorgeousness that is the Sydney International Beauty Expo, every year I go and every year I see new brands, new ideas for marketing beauty products, there’s also unfortunately new ways to make us gorgeous ladies feel just a little insecure.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’ll be the first one in line preaching the virtues of a good cleanser & moisturiser, but I do have to draw the line in the sand well before the Cellulite reduction machines with little to no scientific evidence backing their claims. Beauty Therapists, feel free to correct me on this one via email or in comments…I’m happy to be proven wrong!

Back to why I love the Beauty Expo, nobody does Marketing like the Beauty Industry and as you enter the exhibition hall you’re filled with a sense of hope. Which is exactly what you’re being sold with any beauty product, and there’s nothing wrong with that…we all need a little hope in our lives. The stands are divine, there’s fresh flowers, tropical fruit, water fountains and loads of gorgeous ladies in White Lab Coats with fabulous hair and even more fabulous make-up. You can’t help but feel a little plain in their presence, but also a little hopeful as everything you need to be as glamorous as they resides within the walls of this sublimely decored exhibition hall.

Talking about marketing – I don’t know where to start with the latest Organic Beauty Product now on sale in Australia.

The miniKINI Colour -Matching Collars & Cuffs (their words, not mine) is the latest fad, Organic Colour for your Pubic Hair in colours ranging from natural brown & blonde right through to Sexy Pink, Brazen Blue & Hot Red (again; their words, not mine.)

What will they think of next? 10 points for making it Organic, Ammonia Free colour!
